COSAD USA's Board Member Dr. Susan McCormick Hadley has generously offered to cover furnishings and renovations to prepare the Hon. Kagasheki International Volunteers' House. We could not have pulled this off without Dr. Hadley's generosity. Our staff & contractors are painting, repairing, cleaning, testing, and purchasing items for the house as I write!
We are deeply thankful to be given a resource that will give COSAD's visiting partners a convenient and comfortable place to stay as they invest and build relationships with our partner communities. I think this facility is a resource that will continue "giving" exponentially. It will not simply host visiting international partners, but it will also be a place where stories are shared, relationships are built, new experiences take place, and COSAD's local & international communities are strengthened.
