I’m so sorry it has been over a month since my last blog (better late than never…?)! As suspected, things slowed down in Bukoba for the holidays. I was lucky to enjoy the weeks of Christmas and New Year's with COSAD family and friends, meeting several new people along the way. Though I missed my family & friends (and even the bitter cold) that I would have had in America, Bukoba was an enjoyable alternative! I spent Christmas Eve at a magnificent home in Bukoba, owned and designed by a family who works in Sweden. Christmas Day I spent with my COSAD family (or at least a part of them), and the weeks following I caught a Christian Bella concert & traveled by boat to one of the islands on Lake Victoria. It was a pleasant few weeks with a little free time and good company!
A beautiful Christmas Eve dinner spent with new friends.
